Dental veneers are micro-thin shells crafted of tooth-coloured materials that cover the front side of teeth to improve the appearance of your smile.
Veneers are made of custom-made thin plastic resin or porcelain and can be placed to:
Several visits are usually required for a dental veneer treatment. The tooth preparation is generally minimal and confined to the enamel which is lightly etched in readiness to receive the veneers.
After impressions of your teeth have been taken, our dental laboratory will then create your bespoke veneers. Your dentist will match their colour and brightness to your natural teeth.
During your next appointment, we will check the fit, shape and appearance of the individually designed veneers on your teeth. The veneers are then permanently bonded to the front of the tooth with tooth-coloured resin cement.
When hardened, your dentist will polish your veneers giving you a beautiful new smile.
